Skier forgoes surgery for stem cells; back on the slopes

Los Angeles skier, George Chung, found it more and more difficult to perform the sport he loved. At the age of 55, knee pain from sever osteoarthritis in both his knees threatened to halt George’s progress on the slopes.

Given the suggestion of knee-replacement surgery, George instead went with stem cell injections. He is now back on his skis, and has also incorporated long distance bicycling into his routine too.
